ACORN: One More Video?

Update: Glenn Beck announced today on his radio show that Big Government is releasing another ACORN video today on their website at 4:00 P.M. Glenn Beck will also be showing the video tonight at 5:00PM on his show.
This one comes from San Bernardino and is supposed to be the worse video of all.
The following message went out in an email today from the Glenn Beck program:
If you didn't think ACORN could get any worse after several of their employees (in multiple locations) tried to help a prostitute buy a house, lie to the IRS and run a brothel with underage hookers from El Salvador...you were wrong. It gets much worse. In today’s tapes, this ACORN employee gives away the farm -- she names names of politicians she talks to each day, plus what bills they are lobbying heavily for (with taxpayer money). Oh, this Acorn employee is also a former hooker herself, who (in this audio tape) admits to killing her abusive husband. Your tax dollars hard at work!

Wow, it's amazing to me... the evidence is just continuing to mount. The house and senate has GOT to begin an investigation into ACORN after all of this mess. - Todd

Well, it's a maximum of 5 years, although I read something about it not actually counting because it was a video and not a phone recording (or something to that effect), basically a technicality. I'm not sure, but I can guarantee to you that ACORN will use the government grant money to pay for lawyers to try to convict O'Keefe. I suppose it really depends. If congress agrees to an all out investigation into ACORN, then I think it's unlikely that ACORN will really have a leg worth standing on. But then again, it's a state law, so the states district attorney may decide to go after them. A judge could easily throw it out though if the whole ACORN thing really does blow up.
I figured I'd mention of course too that... well... it's past 4:00 right now, and I see no mention AT ALL of any of this on CBS, ABC, NBC, or CNN at all...
WHY? This is clearly newsworth. What am I missing here... this is CLEAR and OBVIOUS bias... ?! Is no one else seeing this??? - Todd

I was hoping they'd have more tapes to release... I love how he's letting them out one at a time. How many more do you think he's got? I sure don't see how they can ignore this as the evidence continues to mount. It's days like this I really wish we still had Fox News! Just have to catch it on the internet tomorrow.

biggov'.com shows that Md revoked ACORN in Md more than once. I wonder if it's illegal to record an organization that doesn't legally exist. The law is funny about stuff like that. - c

irt the grousing about the trad'l media though; Amendment 1 says congress won't make a law prohibiting a free press. When you gripe about the press it implies imho that you don't agree with that amendment. The same clause forbids prohibiting free speech, btw. Free press means the trad'l media may report on what they want to report on and the reason they are ignoring is? Idk. Maybe they don't want to tick off who they think their audience is and it's a business decision. Maybe it's a conspiracy. That's why we need free press to give the other side of the story. So, it's the story that counts not the coverage. Media reporting on media is an oddity imho but of course the press and the individual have every right to do so. - c

C, I would ever presume to tell them what and for how long they should show something, but I'm certainly more than willing to point out the hypocracy. It's very clear that this is simply a business decision. They know who their viewers are.

I'm not sure it's hypocrisy for them to print or show what they want to. It's their business and it's a free country. Their choices can look silly to some and heroic to others. - c

Well, it IS hypocracy when the claim is that theire non-partisan and sticking to their journalistic oath.
On here, we try to be fair, but it's UNDERSTOOD that this is a conservative site. ABC, CBS, NBC, etc... well... we think they're liberal, but they've never come out and said it. On the contrary, they've stated numerous times that they are non-partisan, and completely fair.
On the other hand, I can recognize that Fox News has obviously taken the opposite approach. While they certainly don't IGNORE a store by ANY means, they do spend significantly more time on pro-conservative stories than they do pro-liberal stories. - Todd
