Planned Parenthood: Examining the Dark, Racist Secrets Behind the Abortion Empire
November 17, 2009

 Jamie Cochrane

Every conservative should understand the liberal stronghold of Planned Parenthood. Not only is it one of the dirtiest businesses in the U.S., but it is also receiving millions of dollars in taxpayer money.

Planned Parenthood is not a new organization; it was first envisioned by the late Margaret Sanger in the late 1800s. She was a pivotal part of the American reproductive rights movement and remains a controversial figure due to her views on eugenics. Those that try to defend Sanger and her views still cannot ignore her remarks on races. In her own words: "Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race."
What does she mean by a "cleaner" human race? A very enlightening video from American Life League explains:
Sanger’s supporters try to argue that she was not racist and attempt to downplay her support for eugenics, but according to Blackgenocide.com in their article titled “The Truth About Margaret Sanger:”
The Planned Parenthood Federation of America has been protective of Margaret Sanger's reputation and defensive of allegations that she was a racist. They correctly point out that many of the attacks on Sanger come from anti-choice activists who have an interest in distorting both Sanger's work and that of Planned Parenthood. While it is understandable that Planned Parenthood would be protective of their founder's reputation, it cannot ignore the fact that Sanger edited the Birth Control review from its inception until 1929. Under her leadership, the magazine featured articles that embraced the eugenicist position. If Sanger were as anti-eugenics as Planned Parenthood says she was, she would not have printed as many articles sympathetic to eugenics as she did.
Strange enough, Planned Parenthood still proudly refers to Sanger on its website in the “History” section, praising her work as heroic, as well as claiming to follow her mission as a guideline in its efforts for reproductive rights.
Planned Parenthood is rooted in the courage and tenacity of American women and men willing to fight for women's health, rights, and equality. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, is one of the movement's great heroes. Sanger's early efforts remain the hallmark of Planned Parenthood's mission...
The fact remains that when Sanger first envisioned Planned Parenthood, eugenics or “race control” was intertwined with its foundation. Either Planned Parenthood is in denial about what Margaret Sanger really stood for or they have no problem backing it up.
The Abortion Empire
Just how much money does Planned Parenthood make or receive? You wouldn't know it by looking at its current facilities or standard of care, but Planned Parenthood is a booming billion dollar business. Despite growing profits, Planned Parenthood also receives millions of U.S. tax dollars annually. Charlotte Allen, in her article, “Planned Parenthood's Unseemly Empire,” states:
The mammoth tax exempt nonprofit with 122 affiliates nationwide reported revenues in June of a record $903 million during its 2005-06 fiscal year ... nearly one-third of Planned Parenthood’s near-billion dollars in revenues—$305.3 million in 2005-06—came from government subsidies of one sort or another. Gross revenues from “health services” at clinics accounted for another $345.1 million, and “private contributions and bequests” accounted for $212.2 million. The federal government alone was responsible for $120 million or more ...
Illegal Activity, Cover-ups, and Scandals
The only other organization that receives this much support from the government and yet has found itself knee-deep in scandals, cover-ups, and illegal activity was ACORN. Despite raking in a troubling 40 percent of its revenue from taxpayers over the last three years, ACORN has recently lost tons of support, even from the left, since its employees’ illegal activity has been made public through a string of high-publicity undercover videos by Big Government contributor James O’Keefe. In a similar fashion, O’Keefe also busted Planned Parenthood. In a phone conversation he got a Planned Parenthood employee to accept donations on behalf of black genocide:
Abortion statistics have revealed that abortions on African American women have dramatically increased in the past few years. It is estimated that over 1,400 black babies are aborted in Planned Parenthood clinics each day.
With more than 79% of clinics in minority neighborhoods, and more than 1400 black abortions daily, these programs are doing precisely what our actor asked them to do. PP is (intentionally or not) exterminating the black community (Stanek 2008).
In a story very similar to the recent ACORN videos, a series of undercover tapes have been recorded by 18-year-old Lila Rose, a sophomore at the University of California at Los Angeles. She posed as an underage girl seeking an abortion with her much older boyfriend:
Armed with a concealed video camera, Lila Rose visited two Planned Parenthood clinics and passed herself off as a 15-year-old seeking an abortion, accompanied by her 23-year-old boyfriend. No employee at either clinic batted an eye; the receptionist at one facility told Rose simply to say she was 16 to avoid a police report.
Actual cases of such situations have been plaguing Planned Parenthood over the years, but sadly much of what goes on in these cases never makes it into news outlets. According to Live Action Films, the Arizona Planned Parenthood office that Lila Rose ousted just happened to have such a case back in 2002 where a real victim continued to be abused because Planned Parenthood didn’t report it in the first place:
This is not the first time PP of AZ has failed to report sexual abuse. In 2002, an AZ judge found the abortion provider negligent for failing to report the sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl by her 23-year-old foster brother, who brought her to a Phoenix-area clinic for an abortion in 1998. After PP kept silent about the abuse, the sexual relationship continued and led to a second abortion 6 months later.
Even with the efforts of James O'Keefe and Lila Rose, no change seems forthcoming. At this point I am not sure exactly what it would take to end Planned Parenthood’s days of federal funding. It is one thing for the Left to withdraw their protection from ACORN and another to consider the impact that would be caused by the disruption of the Planned Parenthood machine (which accounts for roughly 300,000 abortions yearly). With this much money at stake, the Left is not going to let this one go without a fight.

Hey great stuff. Dug your Steyn After America review too. A very good expose of Margaret Sanger, the racist Marxist alcoholic depressive sexual pervert and all round mass murderess, is margaretsanger blogspot com. No, really. Colonel Robert Neville blogspot com.
